Security.

Security is foundational for a child to remain unmoved by life’s challenges.  Standing strong in our belief systems and the deep knowing that who they are is enough.  Each Magic Mindset Course begins with a child’s strength-finder test that allows them to see their top strengths.  Security allows a child to see setbacks and obstacles as temporary.

Resiliency.

Resiliency skills have never been more important for kids and teens to develop.  A child who understands how to reframe their perspective and bounce back from challenges will THRIVE!  Learning this mindset changes the game and allows them to find joy and opportunity in difficult times.

Confidence.

Confidence is a skill that is essential for a happy and fulfilling life.  At the root of a child’s confidence is their perception of competence; a child believing they can complete new tasks and goals.  Many think confidence develops from others giving the child praise (which obviously helps).  However, studies show it’s their own accomplishments that nurtures confidence in themselves.  So we dive into building deep genuine confidence that lasts a lifetime.

Connection.

Creating Calm within ourselves is a skill that cannot be taught too early.  With this mindset skill, your child learns calming techniques based on scientific studies.  As a certified kids yoga instructor, I teach simple breathing techniques that can slow down and regulate our nervous system.  Children learn to quiet anxiety and discover body “hacks” to self-regulating themselves.

Communication.

Speak your truth and learn how to share it.  The secret to a meaningful life begins with connection.  At the root of connection is healthy communication.  This mindset allows children to learn the foundation of self-expression, which includes listening and reflecting on the perspective of others.  Positive communication involves both speaking and attuning.  Issues become easier for children to resolve when solid communication skills are learned and achieved.

Imagination.

Albert Einstein was quoted as saying “imagination is more important than knowledge”.  With an imaginative mindset, children have the ability to think and go beyond their current reality.  Imagination influences everything we do, think about and create.  It leads to elaborate theories, dreams, and inventions.  Our world has never needed problem solvers more than today.  Let’s instill this mindset early and watch them create the future of their dreams -it all begins with a vision.

Inner Compass.

The world can be loud.  Learn to hear and trust the quiet guide within.  Staying true to ourselves often begins with un-learning all the labels and things we’ve been told we are.  An Inner Compass strengthened in childhood heightens the self-trust before unhealthy patterns are instilled by society and outside influences.  A child’s path becomes bright and clear when they can remain focused and self-assured in their personal choices.
